Lions Rugby was founded in 2000 by Dave Malone. It has just concluded it's 23rd season.

LUCAS KETTER
Coach Ketter is not only the high school boys coach, he is an alumni of the team himself. Ketter joined the team in 2002, playing prop. After his graduation, he returned to the team as a coach. This year marks his 17th year with the team.
JOSEPH ALVERNAZ
Coach Alvernaz took over the team from it's founder, Dave Malone, in 2003. Prior to his time with the Lions, Alvernaz played hooker for Oregon State University. Alvernaz is proud to have two of his children on the teams this year.
